“Don’t let your happiness depend on something you may lose.” — C. S. Lewis

That pretty much leaves one being, doesn’t it?

One of my best friends here in Colorado agrees with me that the most important aspect of life is relationships–that happiness is found there. To me the most important relationship to hold dear and close is the one with my creator and heavenly father, but my friend doesn’t care about that one. As much as he thinks other relationships will bring fulfillment, they won’t. In the long run he won’t have happiness apart from God because other friends will let us down or leave us by death; God is the only all-faithful friend.
