Goodness, I watched Warrior last night and I’m watching Gladiator now, should I watch The Patriot or Braveheart tomorrow? Seems like I’m into a heroic and inspiring theme here. Haha, can you tell I don’t like chick flicks? Most of them drive me bananas.
Does anyone have ideas of more good movies like these that I could see sometime?

Glory comes to mind. And if you’re into stories of redemption and grace, the 1998 film rendition of Les Miserables is good. But then, practically anything with Liam Neeson could be included in the “hero” genre. 🙂
I don’t think I’ve heard of Glory so I’ll be sure to look it up. I also don’t think I’ve seen Les Miserables with Liam Neeson but it sounds like a great pairing. 🙂 Thanks!
Actually, Warrior is more of a redemption story than a hero story. I like both kinds.
The Count of Monte Cristo (2002 with Jim Caviezel) and Master and Commander with Russell Crowe! Even though I write Christian Romance, I don’t like many chick flicks either. I usually watch the adventure/thriller/suspense movies with my husband and son. Sherri http://www.sherriwilsonjohnson.com
Thanks, Sherri. I love The Count of Monte Cristo and now you make me want to see it again. 🙂
