When I was very young I loved drawing. I remember one day packing up a hardback dinosaur book, paper and pencils for the 2-hour weekly trip to the hospital in Omaha. I sat in the backseat drawing and drawing pictures of dinosaurs and other animals, all the while planning to become an artist when I grew up. That dream didn’t last for long. Just like the dinosaur, my hand-drawing skills have gone extinct. Now this is how I sketch: Take a picture, edit it on the computer, call it art.
And one strictly a photograph . . . because I prefer that over photos with effects added.
