It was a hard decision to make, but I finally decided to sell my drum set, cymbals, chimes, brushes, sticks . . . the whole shebang really except for my very first pair of drumsticks which my dad sawed the handle end off of and sanded down to fit my little hands better. My parents gave me this beautiful drum set ten years ago for Christmas, since then I’ve taken lessons for around three years and greatly enjoyed playing while I did. I’ve barely played them for a few years now, and I could use the money from selling this vintage set to help pay for rent and vehicle payments. It will be hard to see them go. Maybe another little girl will get them for Christmas this year and be just as happy as I was to have them once upon a time.
